A Behavioural Consultation involves taking a detailed history about the dog, its environment and how the problem has developed. I will send you a form to complete before we meet. This will help me start to understand the underlying reasons for the unwanted behaviour and devise an evidence-based behavioural modification plan (which I will include in a short report to you) that will help you to address the issues.

The initial consultation will take about 1.5hr, and although each case is different, at least one follow-up consultation of about 1hr is required to monitor progress.

There can be underlying medical reasons for behavioural problems so if necessary I will refer you back to your vet for them to evaluate / investigate this.
